Talk about having a happy-dance kind of day...wow!
I've walked around all day today with a permanent grin on my face! Thank you so much Ms. Ali Edwards for the link and your kind comment about my last entry. I'm so humbled by it. And all of you who visited this blog this weekend and those of you who took the time to leave comments or send emails, thank you for your wonderful feedback! I think I e-mailed a reply to everyone individually, but in case I missed anybody, rest assured, I will write back soon. And thanks Adrienne for e-mailing me last Saturday to give me the heads up on Ali's post! You are so sweet! And Toya, thanks for the link too!
Today has been a busy day, between church and helping my daughter with a homework assignment, most of the day has gone by already. Plus, today was the first day of introductions at Shimelle's class You Think You Know Me, so I've been going through several e-mails getting to know the many talented women who are signed up on this class. I loved last year's Christmas Art Journal class so I'm really looking forward to another great class with Shimelle.
Some people asked me about the frames on my photos. I use a combination of frames, elements and brushes from various digital artists including Rhonna Farrer, Anna Aspens, Heather Ann and several others. In the left hand side column of this blog, I have a sections called "Where I Get my Digi Kits From," there you can find links for most of the places I usually purchase digital elements from. The program I use for my digital pages is Photoshop Elements. And I got to say everything I learned about digital scrapbooking I learned initially thanks for the wonderful Renee Pearson. Through her book and her class at Big Picture Scrapbooking I was able to get the initial knowledge I needed to get into this wonderful new form of scrapbooking. Now I have been learning tid bits here and there from reading magazines and even from other blogs! Any time I see something interesting, I ask. The digital community is extremely helpful! That is another reason why I love blogging. I get to know so many wonderful and talented friends from all over the world. I hope this is helpful for those of you who had questions on this topic.
And well, today I'll share my entry pages to Jackie's Circle Journal. A few posts ago, I had shared here some pictures I took of Jackie's wonderful Circle Journal called "Famous Women in History." The CJ is already on its way to Canada for my friend Nikky to work on her entry. But as I had promised, here are a few pictures of what I did. I chose Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz and Mother Teresa.
